I Need Your Help & Some Meg Confessions😊

November 16, 2022

Hello, My Beautiful Friend!

I need your help. I need your feedback. I also have confessions to make.

First, here’s the question that’s been keeping me up at night lately: What can I do to help YOU most in your own life? What knowledge, information, wisdom, insight, or transformational experience do I have that you would like me to share more about so that I can personally help you?

You see, I have a burning desire in my heart to serve. I keep thinking up all these things that I could write, do, teach, coach, mentor, or create, but I realized one important thing: I HAVEN’T ASKED YOU WHAT YOU NEED MOST.

I want my life to help as many people as I am blessed to be able to help. I’d love to be able to help you if it’s within my wheelhouse, wisdom, talents, and abilities.

All you have to do is reply to this newsletter, and I’ll read your response. I truly want to know how I may best serve you in the most meaningful way with my presence on this planet that we’re all privileged to share.

Now, confession time:

Part of me used to be terrified to open this door. I have stopped myself from sending an email like this more than a handful of times because I feared replies of “Just shut up and write another romance novel already, okay?” I was afraid that was all you would think I was good for. But even if that were the case, I know in my heart, I’m here for much more than simply that.

Here’s another truth: I’m always living in a romance—my own amazing real-life love story and several fictional ones that are simmering away. That’s just part of who I am. I love love. When and how I express these stories has changed and evolved as I have, but I’ve always got magic brewing inside this magnificent mind of mine. Each creation has a perfect time to be born, and so each shall be, including my own story.

And while I’m confessing my secrets, here’s another thing I spent five years scared shitless to tell you: I want to do more than write romance novels for the rest of my life, which you have probably guessed by now. I know I’m capable of more than just providing an epic escape. I truly believe there are myriad ways I can be of service. But yes, I also finally understand that my help sometimes comes through my stories, and I realize that those have been and will continue to be healing and life-changing not only for me but sometimes for you too.

So aside from another kick-ass story, which are coming when they’re ready, if there’s anything that comes to mind when you think of ways I might maybe possibly hopefully could help you by sharing anything from the wealth of knowledge, experience, wisdom, and insight I have gained over this life of mine, I’d love to hear from you! I mean this sincerely. I want to help the people I love, and that includes you.

Thank you so much for coming with me on this journey. I have no idea where we’re going, but I bet it’s going to be an adventure and a whole lot of fun.

Quick Story Update!

I have two that have been brewing for years and now they’re both heating up on the stove of my mind. Big chunks have landed in the last two weeks (and the last 12 hours). Pivotal, unexpected, massive, jaw-dropping chunks. Layers that change everything. I’ve never been so patient before when story-crafting, and the Universe is richly rewarding me in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. I’m getting really excited to see where these stories are going. I’m starting to see the picture of the puzzle emerge from the pieces I’ve been gifted. It’s getting interesting! I’m getting closer to doing my thing. And even more exciting, I’ve got the next few months free to do nothing but hunker down and create. Hallelujah!
